| For more than 25 years I have been photographing people and products for Corporations, and Magazines. Diversity of subjects, locations and studio shooting inspires me to create fresh images. I run my studio with one basic principal; create images that work for my clients, within budget, on time and service, service, service. Growing up in Tyngsborough Mass., I started working as a photographer in the 10th grade shooting sports assignments for the local weekly newspaper. I earned a BS in Communications/Media from Fitchburg State College, graduating Cum Laude. My time at FSC along with my internship at a Fortune 500 company taught me to look beyond simply creating a photograph to thinking about how the image would be used to achieve the desired response. Whether its a shot of a mother and child for a health care advertisement or a detail shot of a medical device, my intent is to make a connection with the viewer’s personal or professional experience. In 1996 my wife Christine and I purchased the historic Leavitt Farm in Concord, New Hampshire. This past year we completed construction on my new studio blending a modern studio in with the architecture of a 1847 house and barn. When not on assignment I travel with Christine and our children Stasia and Jason, coach their hockey teams and umpire Little League Baseball and Softball games. Professional Associations and Achievements: American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP.org) - New England Chapter President 1996-97 and 1999-2000 New Hampshire Creative Club – President 1997-98 Granite State College 1994-2002 - Adjunct faculty: developed course work and lectured in the areas of photography and electronic media. |
